I had my first visit with Janet today. She’s a really lovely professional lady with a wealth of knowledge in the aesthetics industry.
Everything was explained so well as I got my procedure carried out. This girl knows her stuff!!!

I was a bit nervous prior to my appointment and really apprehensive, however Janet put me at ease and gave constant reassurance that my treatment would not hurt….she was right it didn’t. We’ve devised a facial regimen specifically for my needs to get the best results.

I’ll be in regular attendance at her clinic and look forward to seeing the results of her expertise!!!

I have been twice now for treatments with Janet, and once for my consultation and I am extremely happy with all my experiences, Janet and the team are extremely friendly and welcoming, they make you feel completely at ease, listen to all of your concerns and guide you perfectly in what is best for your skin. Treatments are done very professionally, I am extremely happy with my results so far, no more fine lines and I just experienced my first wow fusion facial and I understand why WOW is in it's title because I am so so happy with the results! my rosacea redness and burst capillaries have faded some, my pores are smaller and my skin feels tighter, more even and smoother. However, I’d say the loveliest thing about her & her staff are how at ease they put me from the moment I walk through the door. As a licensed pharmacist, Shauna possesses a deep understanding of medications, skin physiology, and patient safety. What sets Shauna apart is her ability to combine this knowledge with her keen aesthetic eye.

With a commitment to continuous learning, Shauna stays at the forefront of industry advancements, ensuring that her patients receive the most current and effective treatments available whilst never compromising on patient safety. Her dedication to patient education and informed decision-making creates a partnership built on trust and mutual respect.

David – team member at J Facial Aesthetics

David McKinney

David graduated in 1986 with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery. He opened Carleton Dental Practice in 1994 which has grown to the modern 6 surgery practice it is today. David has also been Clinical Audit Adviser for Northern Ireland for over ten years. In this role, he supports dentists in raising standards in dentistry.

David has always had an interest in cosmetic dentistry and when Janet started working with David in Carleton Street in 2021, David upskilled to become a prescriber for facial aesthetics. This allows him to support Janet in her aesthetic practice. As a prescriber for anti-wrinkle treatment, David brings experience and knowledge to j_facial aesthetics and he makes sure that care is delivered to the highest standards.

Meet Janet

Hello, I’m Janet, your aesthetic practitioner with a passion for horses, nature, and fine dining. When I’m not in the clinic, I’m focused on developing my skills in aesthetic treatments, learning new techniques and refining my approach. I regularly train with experienced professionals, including Dr. Harry Singh in London, and attend industry events to stay current. My focus is on providing safe, natural results through treatments such as dermal fillers and anti wrinkle injections.
